Meet Dr. Jeffrey Young

Internal Medicine, Longevity Medicine

Hello!  I’m Dr. Jeffrey Young, a board certified Internal Medicine primary care physician for adults and seniors.

Born and raised in Orange County, I obtained my undergraduate degree in Human Biology and my master’s degree in Biology with honors at the University of California, San Diego. Afterwards, I attended Western University of Health Sciences for my medical school training. I then traveled to Alabama to complete my Internal Medicine residency at Brookwood Baptist Health. As a resident, I received multiple awards including “Best Case Report Study”, “Best Clinical Research”, and the “Robert A. Kreisberg Award for Excellence in Research”. After thoroughly enjoying my time in Alabama, I decided to return to Orange County to practice as an internist.

My special interests include longevity medicine, dermatology, and geriatrics. I keep up to date in internal medicine with lectures from Harvard University / UC San Francisco, clinical proceedings from the Mayo Clinic, and listening to the Annals On Call podcast. Outside of medicine, I enjoy exercising, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

I speak English and Mandarin.

My goal has always been to provide my patients with the best personalized care possible. I feel most fulfilled helping patients overcome their uncertainties and understand their medical situation and options. Our mission at Embrace Direct Primary Care is for health care to be built on a personal connection between the patient and the physician based on trust, respect, and open communication.
